My interest in the medical field was first sparked when I was in high school, by my observation of a patient-doctor relationship. Many years have passed since that interaction which took place at Alpena General Hospital in Michigan; and it is the desire to build and maintain meaningful long lasting relationships that continues to draw me to medicine.
After graduating high school, I went on to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor were I obtained a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Biopsychology. Then, I graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago IL with a Medical Degree. I completed my residency in 2010 at MacNeal Family Medicine Residency, affiliated with the University of Chicago IL.

It has been over twenty years since that encounter as a high school student. For the last ten years, I have practiced medicine in several different settings giving me a unique perspective to health care and its delivery. During this time, I have seen how a proper understanding of one’s health and quality health education can lead to disease prevention and make a significant difference in the lives of people. However, providing excellent care takes time, patience and requires attention to detail.

Now, as a wife and mother of three – twin girls and a boy; I understand the challenges we all face living a balanced healthy life. I consider it a privilege to care for you, giving you the time, attention and personal touch you deserve.
